About the twisted nails
Hi
My Name is Nancy, i'm from Fl., just graduated as a Nail Tech. waiting for my license to arrive in a couple of wks. or so.
My instructor taught me, just the basic of how to do the spiral nail technique. You use a coffee straw, to create the effect. What you do is, put acrylic on the nail, don't extend to long, but enough to hold the straw from the free edge of the nail, let the acrylic dry a little, so it has a sticky effect to it, hold the straw under the free edge and start applying acrylic, which ever color you want, and start applying acrylic in a spiral direction, it will take a while, but practice makes perfect right. Believe me, i tried it in school, it wasn't that thick enough, but i mastered the technique. I'm still trying to master the technique, but i'm getting better at it, because it's time consuming.
Well, hope this helped you guys a little, goodluck.
